Angola discusses cooperation with Zambia, Algeria and Hungary

Luanda – Angola analysed Wednesday bilateral cooperation in defence field with Zambia, Algeria and Hungary during separate audience the National Defence minister João Lourenço granted to the ambassadors of the respective countries.

Speaking to the press at the end of the meeting, Zambian diplomat, the first to meet the minister, said the audience focused on South-South cooperation and strengthening relations between Angola and Zambia.

He pointed out that the defence, infrastructures and trade sectors topped the dialogue.

According to him, the objective is study ways to increase exchanges in these areas.

Ambassadors from Algeria and Hungary, who also addressed the same issues, according to a source close to ministry of Defense, did not speak to the press.

Received in audience by João Lourenço were ambassadors Lawrence Chalungumana (Zambia), Larbi Latroch (Algeria), and Zsolt Maris (Hungary).
