The media and social networking platforms in Algeria celebrated Hajja Bennael Rabiha, 92, for her candidacy for the baccalaureate.

Hajj Rabiha, born in 1932, joined the examination center of Ben Lahrsh El Bashir High School in Hassi Bahbah, Djelfa governorate, in the arts and philosophy division, as part of her quest to realize her dream to obtain a baccalaureate, which opens the doors to higher education.

Hajj Rabiha’s educational journey began when she enrolled in literacy classes and obtained her release certificate in 2015. She then joined the first year of college through the National Education Office portal. distance education and training during the 2015/2016 season and continued his studies. path until she obtains the intermediate studies certificate.

She continued her secondary education journey, reaching the final stage, which was the baccalaureate, last year and passing the 2023 session at the age of 91. Even though she failed to pass, she remained determined to participate, which she demonstrated this year by registering and joining the exam centers.

It should be noted that the baccalaureate exams for the June 2024 session began last Sunday and ended Thursday, with the participation of more than 860,000 candidates distributed in 2,893 procedure centers in all the states of the country.

These exams are considered an important gateway to higher education in Algeria and each year attract a large number of candidates of different ages and backgrounds, including older people seeking to realize their dream of obtaining a diploma.
