Algeria offers 58 tons of food products to Niger as a prelude to Ramadan

The chief of staff of Prime Minister Boubacar Mara received a donation of 58 tonnes of food products offered by the Republic of Algeria this Sunday, April 4.

This important donation was sent to Niger by the Algerian Air Force and received during a ceremony attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria to Niger Ali Drouiche, the secretary-general of the ministry. humanitarian action and Prime Minister Mara Boubacar’s chief of staff.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Algeria recalled that this donation follows a telephone call between the President of the Republic Mohamed Bazoum and his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune. He also specified that “every year on the eve of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Republic of Algeria brings its solidarity to the Nigerien people”. “This aid reflects the will of the authorities of the two States to further strengthen the centuries-old relations between the two countries and two peoples”, concludes Ali Drouiche.

This aid is timely, as stated by the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, who on behalf of the highest authorities in Niger thanked the Republic of Algeria for this important donation.

In a few days, the Muslim community will begin the fast of the month of Ramadan. This help will be used to facilitate the fasting of the needy populations in order to guarantee a suitable break-up of young people.
