ALGIERS- General Manager of National Police, Major General Abdelghani Hamel congratulated the national media for “their capital role” in spreading the reactions of citizens and the civil society who praised the police staff, especially the policeman who accomplished his duty of protecting the population of Bab El Kantara, in Constantine.
The police chief said that “the national media were a strategic and essential partner,” welcoming the “exceptional work made by the different media (radio-television-written press) to support the National Police Directorate in its mission which consists in protecting individuals and properties,” said Wednesday a communiqué of Police Directorate’s Information and Public Relations department.
In this regard, Major General Hamel affirmed the determination of all police personnel “to make further to ensure the peace and security of citizens, under the wide guidance of president of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.”
