Air Algérie is selling 30,000 plane tickets at half price for the Algerian diaspora in France during the Ramadan period. This is what company spokesperson Amine Andaloussi said on the set of Echorouk Morning.
The promotion offered by Air Algérie to the Algerian community residing in France for the month of Ramadan is therefore limited to 30,000 plane tickets at a reduced price. This offer is part of the facilitations for the diaspora during this time of the year.
Discounts of up to 50% are currently available on international flights to Algeria during Ramadan. This exceptional offer should allow expatriates to return to the country to spend Ramadan with their families.
Amine Andaloussi also revealed that 4,000 promotional tickets have already been sold in just three days, which demonstrates the strong enthusiasm of travelers. The spokesperson for Air Algérie also indicates that the company has put on sale 10,000 tickets for Umrah trips during the month of Ramadan.
Air Algérie lowers the ticket price for Umrah
The price of a ticket for an Umrah trip is set at 140,000 DZD, he says. A price considered affordable will allow a greater number of faithful to complete this pilgrimage. Direct flights to Umrah will also be organized from Tamanrasset, Adrar, and Ouargla airports.
In addition to this exceptional promotion, Air Algérie has experienced a notable improvement in its financial situation in recent years. Amine Andaloussi indicated that the airline transported more than 7 million passengers in 2023 and plans to expand its fleet with the acquisition of 15 new aircraft between 2025 and 2027 to have a fleet of 70 aircraft.
The Air Algérie spokesperson specifies that the airline currently employs 8,500 employees and is working to open new routes to meet the needs of passengers. The same manager affirms that the national company has opened weekly flights to 10 destinations in less than a year.
