Also known as Japanese or Chinese persimmon, persimmon is the fruit of persimmon. It belongs to the Ebenaceae family and is cultivated in many countries or territories such as Brazil, Iran, Spain, the south of France, North Africa, or the United States. The virtues of persimmon

A fruit with antioxidant properties. It is to the presence of carotenoids (plant pigments) that persimmon owes its orange color. Like turmeric, persimmon contains antioxidants that help protect cells in the body and help reduce cardiovascular disease risk. Their role is also to prevent the development of certain cancers (particularly the colon and blood), diseases linked to aging, and complications caused by diabetes.

A fruit, rich in vitamin C. One of the other characteristics of persimmon is to contain approximately 65 mg of vitamin C on 100 mg, which varies according to its degree of ripeness.
