Earlier today, the public prosecutor requested life imprisonment for the two accused.
Walid Nekkiche was accused of “conspiracy against the state, organization of secret correspondence that could undermine national defense, possession of leaflets harming the national interest”. In the last resort, the judge held against him only the possession of leaflets.
As a reminder, the young student was arrested on November 26, 2019 on the sidelines of a popular Hirak march.
