On the occasion of Independence Day, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken extended congratulations to Tunisia on behalf of the United States.
“Building on more than 200 years of friendship, the United States deeply values our strategic partnership with Tunisia. Our cooperation is essential to promote economic opportunities and advance regional stability. We will continue to support the Tunisian people in their efforts towards inclusive economic development. The United States remains committed to working with the Tunisian people to achieve these common goals of prosperity, security and respect for fundamental freedoms,” reads a message published by the Department of State.
