The President of the Republic of Tunisia, Kaïs Saïed, ordered, on Monday, during a meeting at the Carthage Palace, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, to begin the procedures for appointing a Tunisian ambassador to Damascus, Syria.

This is what emerges from a press release from the Presidency of the Republic, specifying that the meeting focused on the activity of the ministry during the last period and the bilateral and multilateral deadlines to come, according to the Tunis Afrique Presse agency ( TAP/official).
