Tunisia: Holding of the 36th Edition of the Days of the Company under the Sign of the Crisis

The kick-off of the 36th edition of the Company Days was given on December 8 and should continue until December 10. The central theme of this edition, which is held every year, is “Business and Security: Freedom and Sovereignty”. Organized in the city of Sousse (Centre-East), by the Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE), the Business Days bring together nearly 700 participants from several countries.

The opening ceremony should have been held with the presence of the Head of Government, Najla Bouden, whose participation was replaced by that of the Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines, Neila Nouira Gongi.

Crisis obliges, this edition of the days of the Company is centered on the theme of the energy crisis and the dysfunction of food supply chains on a global scale, which are among the repercussions of the war launched on February 24 between Russia and Ukraine. As a result, the organizers focused the debates of the Enterprise Days on the issues of energy, food, and water security, and cyber security.

Several personalities took part in the event, representing employers’ organizations from Egypt, South Korea, Ukraine… Political figures, businessmen, economists and the representative of the International Monetary Fund ( IMF) are also among the figures present.
