Tunisia-Côte D’Ivoire: Investors Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Boost Trade

70 Tunisian investors on a mission in Abidjan from 4 to 8 December.

A memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed in Abidjan between the Confederation of Citizen Businesses of Tunisia Connect and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCICI).

The agreement was initialed on Tuesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by Tarak Cherif, president of Connect, and Fama Touré president of CCICI, as part of an economic mission organized by Connect International from December 4 to 8, in Côte of ivory.

The memorandum of understanding commits the two parties to support and organize business meetings and to conduct “matchmaking” interviews or to put economic players in contact with credible partners in the two countries.

The two parties also undertake to assist each other with research relating to trade and investment.

The Tunisian mission is made up of 70 investors operating in areas such as agri-food, health, and ICT.

The Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire in Tunisia welcomed the Ivorian-Tunisian cooperation which, according to him, is going well.

Scheduled to end on December 8, 2022, the mission includes workshops on the business climate in Côte d’Ivoire, field visits to companies, and an economic forum.
