The Export Promotion Center (Cepex), through its commercial representative office in Abuja, is organizing a prospecting mission to Nigeria, on the sidelines of the Food & Beverage West Africa (FAB West Africa) exhibition which will be held from June 11 to 13 2024 in Lagos.

The mission will take the form of collective participation in an 18m² exhibition space dedicated to Tunisian agri-food products of interest for the Nigerian market and neighboring markets, mainly olive oil, dates and derived products, canned foods (harissa, sardines, tuna, etc.), sauces (ketchup, mayonnaise, etc.), cheeses, confectionery, biscuits, and packaging.

B2B meetings are also scheduled.

FAB West Africa attracts more than 300 international exhibitors and 5,000 visitors each year, mainly from Nigeria and West Africa.

Trade between Tunisia and Nigeria amounted, in 2022, to 53.5 million dinars (MDT) compared to 21.5 MTD in 2021, showing an increase of 150%, according to figures put forward by the Cepex trade fair. The main Tunisian exports to Nigeria are olive oil, dates, biscuits, and fresh fruits.
