On a working visit to Morocco, the Spanish Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegría Continente, discussed with her Moroccan counterpart Chakib Benmoussa the possibility of integrating the Arabic and Spanish languages ​​into teaching.

Pilar Alegría Continente was part of the Spanish delegation present in Rabat as part of the Morocco-Spain High-Level Meeting. During his exchanges with Chakib Benmoussa, there was talk of the creation of bilingual sections of Spanish in the scientific field in certain secondary education establishments in Morocco. A working group will be set up to bring this cooperation project to fruition in the education sector.

According to the Minister of National Education, the idea is to do this gradually, starting with the college secondary level until extending it to the qualifying secondary level. For her part, the Spanish Minister of Education, Pilar Alegría Continente, stressed that it is an opportunity offered to students in order to allow them to continue their higher education in Spain. “With the construction of an educational institution in Rabat, on land ceded by the Moroccan government, we hope to inaugurate in 2025 the most important Spanish educational institution abroad,” she said.
