Clarification. The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) announced this Thursday, September 23, that it had paid participation and performance bonuses to Moroccan athletes who participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, according to a statement published on the official website of the Committee.

“Following the close of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the CNOM and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCJS) paid participation and performance bonuses to all the athletes who took part in this edition of the Games, ”the statement said.

And to add: “These bonuses are allocated according to the specificities of each sporting event, the format of the competition and the final classification recorded by each qualified athlete”.

As a reminder, the CNOM and the Ministry of Youth and Sports had set the amount of participation and performance bonuses for the benefit of Moroccan athletes who will take part in the Olympic Games in Tokyo (July 23-August 8).

Thus, the athlete who wins a gold medal in these games will pocket 2 million DH, the one who wins the silver medal will get 1,250,000 DH, while the bronze medalist will receive a bonus of 750,000 DH, affirms- your.
