Taste Atlas’ in-depth analysis, based on audience ratings, highlighted the culinary treasures of each country, and Algerian cuisine stood out with remarkable scores, deserving its place in the top 50. Despite fierce competition from world-renowned cuisines, the authenticity of local flavors and ancestral recipes have propelled Algerian cuisine to this success.
La Rechta, the undisputed Algerian star of the world culinary ranking in 2023
The Rechta particularly shone, obtaining an exceptional score of 4.7/5, consecrating it as the Algerian dish of the year.
