The Central Bank of Libya Reunited in… Tunis

The governor of the Central Bank of Libya (BCL), Al Siddiq al Kabeer, and his deputy, Marai Moftah, met in Tunis with the governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia, Marouane Abbasi.

This was announced by the Libyan Central Bank on Facebook, explaining that this is the first official meeting of the governor and his deputy after the recent announcement of the unification of the two institutions of East and Western Libya.

The meeting was organized “with a view to improving communication with various regional and international subjects as part of strengthening cooperation in the banking sector between the two countries”, we can read in the press release.
