The president of the republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune returned this Friday evening to Algeria after a stay of more than two months in Germany.
President Tebboune returned home at the end of the day aboard a presidential plane. the head of state returned to Algeria, after several weeks of convalescence following his hospitalization in a German specialized hospital, after being contaminated with the coronavirus (covid-19).
Tebboune had announced his return
in a video made public, last December 13, by the presidency of the republic, president Tebboune had announced his “imminent return to Algeria”
“Today thank god, thanks to our doctors at the ain naadja hospital as well as the German doctors, my state of health is constantly improving (…) I am in a period of convalescence which could last two or three weeks. more, but I would regain all my strength and I would come back to Paris, ”he said.
