The victim, residing in Germany, was lured under the pretext of a free cosmetic treatment offered by Sharaban K., who also shared fashion and makeup tips on social networks.

The alleged murderer of her Algerian double faces life imprisonment

The lifeless body of the young Algerian woman was discovered on August 17, 2022, in a vehicle parked in the Ingolstadt region, in southern Germany. He was stabbed with stab wounds. The first elements of the investigation had led the police onto a false trail. Indeed, they initially believed that the victim was the vehicle owner: Sharaban K., a 23-year-old German beautician of Iraqi origin.

According to an investigator quoted by the press, the victim looked “unmistakably” to the suspect. To the point that the family of Sharaban K. themselves wrongly identified the body discovered in the vehicle as that of their daughter. Sharaban K., on trial since Tuesday alongside her alleged accomplice, faces serious charges which, if convicted, faces a sentence of life in prison.
