Samuel Eto’s Violently Hits an Algerian Youtuber in Doha

The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot), Samuel Eto’o, hit an Algerian youtuber on Monday evening near the 974 stadia in Doha, after the match of the round of 16 of the World Cup between Brazil and South Korea. The video of Samuel Eto’o’s attack on the young Algerian, which has gone viral, has sparked a great controversy on social networks.  

Former FC Barcelona striker and current Fecafoot boss Samuel Eto’o lost his temper on Monday night in Qatar after the match between Brazil and South Korea. As he posed with several spectators who came towards him to take pictures near the 974 stadia in Doha, Samuel Eto’o quickly lost his nerves by violently attacking one of the people around him.

Indeed, as shown by the images of a video published on social networks by the Spanish media La Opinión, we see a young person with a camera approaching Samuel Eto’o to question him. According to several media, the young person in question is the Algerian YouTuber Sadouni SM, present in Qatar to attend the World Cup. The Algerian YouTuber reportedly asked Eto’o about Gambian referee Bakary Gassama, who officiated the famous Algeria-Cameroon match.

In the video, we see the president of Fecafoot respond vehemently to his Algerian interlocutor, before being held back by several men present at his side. One of these men snatches the Algerian’s camera before seeing Samuel Eto’o, furious, kicking the Algerian YouTuber violently in the chest. The latter, thrown to the ground, showed no sign of resistance and did not seem at all to want to fight with his attacker.

In a video published on the night of Monday, December 5, Algerian YouTuber Sadouni SM said he was attacked by Samuel Eto’o after the Brazil-South Korea match for questioning him about the Algeria match. -Cameroon for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. “My question about referee Gassama pissed him off. He called me stupid and other vulgar things that I can’t pronounce. He violently attacked me”, affirms the young Algerian; who announced that he had filed a complaint against Samuel Eto’o with the Qatari police.
