Indeed, according to the “sputnik” press agency, the federal service indicated that “after the spread and deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Algeria due to the highly contagious avian flu virus, temporary restrictions have since been imposed. on March 2, 2021, the following products are imported to Russia from Algeria ”.
The agency said the procedure was decided following a report by the World Organization for Animal Health (Goose) on the spread of a very dangerous h5n8 avian flu disease in Algeria.
Poultry farming ravaged by bird flu in Algeria
an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza h5n8 was discovered in a poultry farm in Ain Fakroun in the wilaya of Um El Bouaghi (465 km east of paris).
