Morocco will host the Olympic Sports Shooting World Cup from January 11 to 24, 2023 in the disciplines of Trap and Skeet, ladies, men, national teams, and mixed teams.

This was revealed by the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) in a press release. According to her, this competition will bring together more than 360 athletes at the start, belonging to 45 nations, and representing the best sports shooting schools, in four continents (Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia). “This event, which is on the ISSF’s international agenda, and whose results will count in the International Ranking, will see the participation of the best triggers, with holders of Olympic medals, world champions, world cup titles, and continental championships”, emphasizes the ISSF.

This world sporting event will be organized by the Royal Moroccan Sports Shooting Federation (FRMTS) at the Shooting and Leisure Oaks Club in El Arjat in the suburb of Salé. The FRMTS had announced the cancellation of the Hunting Shooting World Cup which was scheduled for February 2022 in Rabat, in compliance with the measures taken by Morocco to prevent the spread of the Omicron variant.
