Mohamed Rabie Khlie, Director General of the National Railway Office (ONCF), lifted the veil on new projects, in particular those to connect the airports of Rabat and Casablanca with high-speed trains (TGV ).

The high-speed train (TGV) should connect Rabat-Salé airport to that of Mohammed V in Casablanca, Khlie just indicated, adding that this train will also serve the key stadiums of the 2030 World Cup, in particular those of Rabat and Benslimane.

During an intervention on the Al Aoula channel, the director of the ONCF expressed the colossal impact of this project on the economy and society, promising to relieve overloaded routes and improve the transport network. RER proximity in large cities.

Greater Casablanca will be at the heart of these transformations. On the Benslimane-Mohammedia-Nouaceur axis, no less than 15 new stations will see the light of day, thus allowing great urban mobility and continuity with other modes of transport.

But the ambitions of Khlie and his team do not stop there: regional trains that will connect Casablanca to El Jadida, Berrechid, and Settat, are also planned in the ONCF plans.

Employment will be at the heart of this strategy, promises Mohamed Rabie Khlie: around 70 million working days will be necessary to carry out these titanic projects. And once operational, they will generate more than 350,000 days of permanent work.
