Morocco: The Ministry of Justice at war against unpaid fines

The Minister of Justice affirmed before the House of Representatives that a strategy is put in place to make the operations of recovery of fines and pecuniary convictions effective.

Mohamed Benabdelkader, Minister of Justice goes to war against unpaid fines. He made this clear during his presentation of the sector budget for the year 2021 to the Committee on Justice, Legislation and Human Rights in the House of Representatives.

On this occasion, the Minister of Justice indicated that the components of the draft budget for the year 2021 at the level of his ministry, take into account, the management, the investment (200 million and 490 thousand dirhams), the fund special court support (400 million DHS) and the family mutual aid fund (160 million DHS).

Benabdelkader also mentioned several other projects, including, among others, those relating to infrastructure planned for next year, but also those programmed, for the implementation of the legislative plan, employment, training, application of the digital transformation master plan programs, and the continued implementation of the new decree of the judicial map.
