Joint military exercises between the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the United Kingdom will take place in October 2021 in Morocco. This announcement was made by Martin Simon, British Ambassador in Rabat.
“In defense, we already have a very great collaboration, there will be very very important joint military exercises in October, and we are expecting Insh’Allah, a visit from our new aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth (R08) on her return from the Far East”, announced Simon Martin, guest of the Grand Format program on the Le360 site.
HMS Queen Elizabeth weighs 62,000 tons, is 280 meters long and 70 meters wide. A major aircraft carrier in the history of the Royal Navy, but also a larger ship in Europe, the aircraft can accommodate up to 70 aircraft. He is expected to participate in joint military exercises to be organized next October in Morocco.
In 2019, the elements of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the British Defense had carried out military exercises under the supervision of the American army corps within the framework of operations “Judicious Response” and “Epic Guardian 19”.
