Representatives of the Qatari group “Baladna”, specialized in milk production, went to the wilaya of El Bayadh with a view to setting up an important project in the region.
According to a press release from the wilaya of El Bayadh, wali Farid Mohammadi received, on Thursday, a delegation of experts from the Qatari society and executives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, visited the pilot farm of Bougtob.
He added that the Qatari delegation was given a presentation on this important pilot farm and all the potential it holds and that the representatives of Qatari society showed great interest in this farm.
It should be noted that Baladna is one of the largest groups specializing in milk production in the Gulf region, with a farm covering an area of 2.4 million square meters, with some 24,000 dairy cows.
