During the meeting, Hamdan highlighted the need to streamline tourist flows between Jordan and Tunisia and promote tourism, leveraging specialized businesses in both countries to increase arrivals to Jordan and Tunisia.

A key point of the discussion was the need for a systematic approach, including monitoring and evaluation of mutual visits, activation of cooperation agreements and exploitation of opportunities in the tourism sectors of both countries.

Hamdan stressed the importance of creating more airlines to facilitate tourist transportation, which would not only increase competitiveness but could also reduce ticket prices.

In addition, there was talk of encouraging airlines to operate low-cost flights between the two countries.

To this end, arrangements have been made for a delegation of Jordanian travel and tourism agents to visit Tunisia after Ramadan, with the aim of introducing them to the various attractions and tourist opportunities available in Jordan.

Ben Habib, for his part, praised the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of greater cooperation and collaboration in various sectors, including tourism. He then affirmed the commitment of the Tunisian embassy to promote tourist exchanges between the two countries with the aim of attracting a greater number of visitors in both directions.
