Jordanian Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Al-Kasbi and his Tunisian counterpart Sarra Zaafrani on Tuesday discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of housing, construction and subcontracting.

During this virtual meeting, Al-Kasbi noted the deep and solid relations between the two countries in various fields, including housing and construction and procurement, and said he hoped to further strengthen the exchange of expertise.

According to the “Ammon News” site, he pointed out that the ministry has completed a number of projects and more are underway, all of which meet the highest international engineering standards, and that it had initiated studies and inspections to ensure periodic maintenance and durability.

Jordan, he said, attaches great importance to supporting investments, noting that the government has approved measures to promote investors in the various fields, namely housing and construction.

The two ministers agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, validate previous memorandums and form a joint committee to follow up on bilateral agreements, remove obstacles facing businesses and gain access to the markets of both countries and countries. neighbors.

The Tunisian minister reaffirmed her country’s keen interest in strengthening cooperation and partnership with Jordan in all fields, saying that she aspired to a strengthened partnership and to the exchange of expertise.
