Senegal and Mali will go to Algeria next year to take part in the 2023 Under-17 CAN.

The two countries validated their ticket on Friday by qualifying for the final of the U17 UFOA-A tournament. The Senegalese whipped in the semi-finals to overcome Sierra Leone on penalties (0-0, 6-5 pens), while the Malians dismissed Mauritania (2-0), the host country of the tournament.

Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Egypt, and Algeria, as host countries, have also already assured their presence for this tournament, which will take place from April 8 to 30, 2023. Six places, therefore, remain to be taken.
