In order to examine the files relating to the modalities of the dealers’ activity of new import cars and those of construction, the Algerian government has appointed two committees. Here are the members.
Indeed, the presidential decrees on the appointment of the members of two committees for the examination and monitoring of files relating to the construction of cars and dealers of new import cars are finally published in the official journal of Algeria in its edition of November 04. In any case, this is what the general daily Ennahar indicated.
According to the same source, the representative of the Minister of Industry, Hafid Tahar was nominated as chairman of the committee for monitoring cases relating to dealers of new cars. As for the representative of the Minister of Industry, Amel Allam, she is now vice-president and member.
The other members of the commission are the representative of the Minister of Mines Mohamed Mendaci; the representative of the Minister of Finance Mohamed Aït Moussa and finally the representative of the Minister of Commerce Ahcène Zentar. This committee, according to the same source, will have to adopt its own internal regulations as soon as it is installed.

In addition to the aforementioned committee, another eight members have been appointed in order to examine the files relating to the construction of vehicles in Algeria. As for members, the representative of the Minister of Industry Fateh Lekfif was nominated as chairman of the committee. Another representative Aït Ali was for his part appointed as vice-president. As for the two other representatives of the same minister, Karim Djellili and Mohamed Lamine Boukerzeza are now members. The representative of the Minister of Finance Mourad Ami, the representative of the Minister of Commerce Nadia Doufene; the representative of the Minister of Mines Hakim Benabbes; and the representative of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abbas Sahraoui are also members.
As a reminder, the Minister of Industry has maintained his position vis-à-vis the import of cars less than three years old. According to what was declared at a meeting of the National People’s Congress devoted to the 2021 Finance Law project, the decision to import of vehicle rests with Tebboune. Thus, only the Head of State can decide the issue for good.
