Author of a double and an assist in the first leg, Hakim Ziyech repeats by opening the scoring on a free kick in the return match (0-1, 39th) against the RCA, before delivering an assist to En-Nesyri at the very end of the game (0-2, 90th + 1).

In total, the Atlas Lions have garnered 6 points out of the 6 involved in their double confrontation against the Central African Republic. Two victories which allowed the Moroccans to register 6 against 1 cashed.

Involved in the four goals scored in Casablanca, Hakimi is also illustrated in the return match by being decisive. He is therefore at the origin of the six Moroccan achievements. His performance allows the Atlas Lions to consolidate their position as leader of group E, with 10 points on the clock at one point of qualification.

Morocco is also the only country out of five not to qualify with 10 points, unlike Algeria, Tunisia, Mali, and Cameroon who validated their ticket for the final phase with the same number of points.

Never mind for Ziyech and his teammates who could be content with a point in March when they move to Mauritania before welcoming Burundi.
