France: Lufthansa launches flights to Algeria at 295 euros

As the summer season approaches, German airline Lufthansa stands ready to take to the skies to Algeria by selling several plane tickets for flights departing from France in June from 295 euros. 

After going through turbulence never seen in the history of civil aviation, several airlines are preparing for the summer season to address the cataclysmic impact that their fleet has experienced. When Algeria intends to partially open its borders, Lufthansa is selling several flights from France to Algeria for 295 euros.  

The specialized media spotted them and returned to the subject in an article published yesterday. According to its information, the air carrier plans to serve Algiers from several French cities, very frequented by Algerian citizens. In detail, these are Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Marseille, Nice, and Strasbourg. The ticket for a flight to it amounts to 295 euros.

According to the company’s website, a Lufthansa flight from Paris to Algiers should cost 328 euros. The one in Lyon is 408 euros. While those departing from Marseille, Nice, and Toulouse are on sale at prices that rise, respectively, to 408, 426, and 409 euros.

It should be noted that prices are subject to change. A fare adjustment may apply depending on the date of purchase and the date of travel. According to the same source, the flights can take place on June 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, and 29. The carrier’s planes plan to take off in the early morning hours to land at Houari Boumediène airport.   

Flights from Algiers to Germany: Lufthansa displays prices 

The German airline has also posted several flights between Germany and Algeria. Indeed, Lufthansa plans to serve Frankfurt from Algiers in June 2021. According to its website, the cheapest flights from the Algerian capital to the economic capital of Germany are available for reservation for sixty-nine (69) thousand. DZD. 

The aforementioned carrier also intends to operate flights from Algiers to several other European cities. We cite, among others, Hanorve, Kiew, Lviv, Orlando, and Munich. It should be noted that these flights are subject to cancellation. 

Indeed, the Algerian government had indicated that the opening of the borders would take place in June 2021. He also stressed that only five flights will be operated per day. The Algerian Presidency should soon provide more details on the subject of the resumption of flights to Algeria.
