Foreign nationals who receive an OQTF or obligation to leave the territory can appeal to benefit from a suspension. If previously there were 12 categories of appeal , in the new “immigration” bill in 2023, there should only be 4.

Facilitating the integration of foreign workers
Foreigners applying for asylum will now be able to work during their first 6 months in France. A “shortage job” residence permit should also be established next year to compensate for the shortage of labor in certain sectors.
Foreigners who have never exhibited reprehensible behavior and without a criminal record will automatically benefit from a renewal of their residence permit. On the other hand, foreigners who arrive before the age of 13 in France and who are in an irregular situation can also leave the territory according to the decision of the judge.
