Algerie Foot: The Amiri Diwan of Qatar published a video summarizing the presence of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as the guest of honor for the opening of the Mediterranean Games in Oran.
On his Instagram page, Amiri Diwan attached the video with the comment: “The visit of the Emir of Qatar for the opening of the Mediterranean Games, his signature on the shirt of Djamal Belmadi, and the writing of the sentence “Desert Warriors fans with us in 2022.”

The video shows the Emir’s signature on an Algerian national team jersey bearing Belmadi’s name, in which he writes that the Algerian public will be present at the World Cup in Qatar.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani thanked the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, after attending the opening ceremony of the Mediterranean Games in Oran.
“I thank my brother, His Excellency the President, for the kind invitation to attend the opening of the 19th Mediterranean Games 2022 in the city of Oran, Bahia,” tweeted Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
He added: “Wishing success to all participants in this important sporting event, which contributes to deepening communication between the peoples of the two shores of the Mediterranean”.
