Cultural Domain: Morocco and Saudi Arabia Seal MOU

The Saudi Council of Ministers approved, during a meeting held on Tuesday in Jeddah, under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field between the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Morocco and Saudi Arabia signed, on December 7, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field.

The MoU was signed by Saudi Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, on the sidelines of the 23rd session of the Conference of Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World, in the Saudi capital.

This memorandum of understanding aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in cultural fields, in particular those related to heritage, architecture and design, museums, visual arts, theater and performing arts, literature and publishing, fashion, culinary arts, film and music, as well as the exchange of experiences on cultural systems and policies.
