Algerian FAF: Kheireddine Zetchi elected new president

ALGIERS- The only candidate to the presidency of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Kheireddine Zetchi was elected with 64 votes in the General Elective Assembly held Monday, at the Sidi Moussa National Technical Centre behind closed doors.

A total of 103 members voted during this elective Assembly and besides those who voted for the president of Paradou AC (League 2 Mobilis), 35 voted against and four were invalid ballots.

Zetchi succeeds to Mohamed Raouraoua, whose mandate expired and who did not wish to run again to chair the Algerian Football Federation.
