Algeria – Venezuela: Towards the Opening of a New Commercial Maritime Line

On the sidelines of his participation, Monday, January 22, in the Algerian-Venezuelan business forum, organized by the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, the Minister of Transport, Mohamed El Habib Zahana, welcomed the opening of the new line air Caracas – Algiers. Which will be provided by the Venezuelan company Conviasa.

In this wake, the Algerian Minister of Transport assured that the direct connection between the capitals of the two countries will promote the development of economic and commercial relations between Algeria and Venezuela.

In this wake, Zahana indicated that the new Caracas – Algiers line encourages the work carried out by his department to open new lines to other capitals; in the four corners of the world. And this is by the government program.

Indeed, as part of the strengthening of relations between the two countries, the minister also mentioned the launch of the Algeria – Venezuela maritime line. On this subject, Mohamed El Habib Zahana indicated that the two parties are working to make the project a reality. This is to ensure the maritime transport of goods between the two countries.

Still, on the sidelines of this business forum, the Venezuelan Minister of Transport, in this case, Ramon Velasquez, that the Caracas – Algiers line opens up many opportunities. Moreover, he reported 50 destinations to Africa and Asia in a rapid air connection plan. And cheaper will be offered to Venezuelan economic operators. And this, while transiting via Algiers International Airport.

Furthermore, on departure from Caracas, he affirmed that destinations towards Latin America and the Caribbean would be possible for Algerian economic operators.
