Severely ill, a former international football goalkeeper appealed to the Algerian authorities to allow him to receive treatment abroad. This is the former doorman of ES Sétif and JS Kabylie, Samir Hadjaoui.

“I am having a difficult time because of my illness. I am making an urgent appeal to the country’s high authorities to allow me to go to Turkey to undergo an extremely urgent surgery ”, Hadjaoui indicated on Friday, October 30th. And to add: “Any delay does not work in my favor and risks being fatal to me. I have given a lot for national football and I hope that this appeal will have a favorable echo ”.

According to some indiscretions, the former international goalkeeper suffers from a tumor on his left rib, which requires an operation as soon as possible. The cry of distress from the former rampart of the national football team aroused a broad outpouring of solidarity among his ex-teammates and other citizens.

Sidali Khaldi reassures Hadjaoui

Some even offered the ex-guardian financial assistance and the organization of a fund for his support. However, Hadjaoui, according to some media sources, is not asking for money, but for authorization to leave Algeria to go for treatment in Turkey.

An authorization that he will be able to obtain shortly. Because, according to the same sources, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sidali Khaldi, promised to intervene. The MYS is said to have called Hadjaoui by phone on Friday. He would have assured her that he would do his best to help her obtain the famous authorization to leave the country.
