Air France: Prices Soar to Algeria for Ramadan

On the side of the government as well as that of the deputies of the community abroad, a lot of things have been said in recent days concerning the number of flights, ticket prices or even the total reopening of the Algerian borders.

This sudden interest in this issue in high places has paved the way for hope on the side of Algerians abroad, who are tired of paying huge sums for tickets to Algeria because of the partial regime that drags on.

The caution of high authorities is no longer justified. Algeria has an advantageous health situation. The latest report shows less than 50 daily cases of contamination. These are the lowest levels since the start of the epidemic. And, for once, the Algerian experts are confident.

Price of flights between France and Algeria: the surge continues

In the Maghreb as in Europe, the time has come to ease measures for travelers except in Algeria where the public authorities are maintaining a number of flights that do not correspond to demand.

For example, the number of flights with France has not increased since August 2021 while other less requested destinations have been reinforced by new connections such as Tunisia and Canada. Since August, demand for flights with France has continued to grow.

Air France increases its prices for the end of Ramadan

Result: the prices of plane tickets from France to Algeria are soaring. At Air France, only eight dates are still open for sale in March.

One-way tickets are available from €998 for the dates of March 16, 19, and 24. For flights from March 27 to March 31, prices drop a little, from €679 for a one-way ticket between Paris and Algiers with the French national airline.

In April, all flights on offer start at €679 one-way between Paris and Algiers. They explode as the end of Ramadan and the Eid holiday approach, starting at €998 for journeys on April 30 and May 1.
