Air Algérie: 108 Additional Flights Abroad

Algeria increases the number of commercial flights with foreign countries. After several months of waiting, the government announced this Wednesday, March 9 a new flight program for Air Algérie.

An announcement that will relieve the Algerian diaspora and Algerians in general who travel abroad. Until then, Air Algerie’s flight schedule was insufficient.

In addition to the difficulty of finding plane tickets, Algerian travelers are forced to pay a high price to catch a flight and return home.

According to the new program communicated this Wednesday by the Ministry of Transport, Air Algérie will provide 108 additional weekly flights abroad. This program comes into effect on March 15.

Unsurprisingly, France, which is the most popular destination, had the lion’s share of this new program, with 74 additional flights.

Thus, 26 additional flights per week have been added on the Algiers-Paris line and two on the Algiers-Marseille line.

The new program includes the resumption of flights on the lines Algiers-Lyon (7 flights per week), Sétif-Lyon (3 flights per week), Bejaia-Paris (3 flights per week), Tlemcen-Paris (2 flights), Annaba -Paris (02 flights), Oran-Marseille (02 flights), Constantine-Marseille (two flights per week), Annaba-Marseille (02 flights), Tlemcen-Marseille (02 flights), Oran-Lyon (3 flights), Constantine -Lyon (03 flights), Annaba-Lyon (02 flights), Tlemcen-Lyon (02 flights).

Still with France, the program also provides for the resumption of the lines Algiers-Toulouse (02 flights per week), Oran-Toulouse (03 flights per week), Algiers-Lille (04 flights) and Algiers-Nice (02 flights per week).

For other countries, Air Algérie is authorized to operate three additional flights per week on the Algiers-Istanbul line, three weekly flights on Algiers-Barcelona, ​​Algiers-London (02 flights), Algiers-Geneva (02 flights), Algiers-Dubai (02 flights), Algiers-Cairo (one flight per week), Algiers-Nouakchott (one flight per week) and Algiers-Dakar (one flight).

In addition, Air Algérie is authorized to resume its flights on the following routes: Algiers-Beijing (one flight per week), Algiers-Madrid (03 flights per week), Algiers-Alicante (5 flights per week), Oran-Alicante ( 5 flights per week), Algiers-Brussels (02 flights per week) and Algiers-Milan (02 flights per week).
