The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announced on Wednesday the launch of a new land portfolio intended for all investors interested in strategic crops in the southern wilayas.
“The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development informs, through the Office for the Development of Industrial Agriculture in Saharan Lands (ODAS) and the National Office of Agricultural Land (ONTA), all investors interested in strategic crops in the southern wilayas of the launch of a new land portfolio,” indicates a press release from the ministry, taken up by the APS agency.
To this end, a new land portfolio of 163,999 hectares has been identified, spread over 30 areas, intended for investors across 10 wilayas, the press release specifies.
A land portfolio of 13,574 hectares spread over 39 perimeters across 5 wilayas will also be put online on the ONTA digital platform, for those wishing to obtain agricultural land within the framework of concession rights.
“The ministry calls on people interested in agricultural investment to prepare their files in anticipation of the launch of the new land portfolio, starting on Wednesday, by consulting the ODAS website: www.odas.madr.gov.dz and from ONTA : www.onta.dz.
