After several hours of waiting, in the middle of the night, the travelers learned that they could not fly to Morocco since their flight was finally canceled. “A few freaked out. […] Some passengers began to force boarding and climbed on the plane, “said a passenger to our colleagues. Once inside the aircraft, they refused to come out. “The police surrounded the device,” described a traveler.

Another scheduled flight

The situation was resolved on Thursday July 14, 2022 around 7 a.m. after negotiations between airport teams and passengers. Another flight was announced and scheduled for the day at 11 a.m.

The Director of Airport Operations acknowledged the tensions, particularly related to the discomfort of waiting. According to him, no one was able to access the cockpit then occupied by the pilot and co-pilot.
