Samuel Eto’o has officially been recognized as the father of a 22-year-old woman from Madrid. His mother and Eto’o met at a nightclub in Madrid in 1997. She tried to contact the player for years but he never answered her call. According to Marca, Adileusa reportedly told the former Barca player that she was pregnant. During the pregnancy, she allegedly tried to communicate with the future father, but he did not answer her phone calls or emails. The Madrid court, relying in particular on the biological evidence provided by the mother, therefore recognized the paternity of Samuel Eto’o, condemning him to pay a monthly pension of 1400 euros. A retroactive pension since the filing of the complaint.
