Saudi Arabia considers Morocco’s territorial integrity a ‘red line’

Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Morocco, Abdullah Bin Saad Al-Ghurairi, said that his country considers the kingdom’s territorial integrity a “red line”, and supports Rabat’s sovereignty over its southern provinces.

This came in a statement by the Moroccan Lower House Speaker, Habib Al-Maliki, published on Monday after his meeting with the Saudi ambassador.

The statement added that during the meeting, the ambassador stressed on the strength of brotherly relations that bring together the two countries and their people.  He also lauded the urban development achieved in the field of infrastructure and transportation in particular.
