The development of an additional plan intended to enrich the Tunisia 2035 strategic vision and the 2023/2025 development plan, which will be based on the orientations and programs of digitalization and innovation, was at the center of a working session. held on Thursday under the presidency of Economy Minister Samir Saïed, according to the Tunis Afrique Presse agency (TAP/official).

The meeting focused on the need to respond to rapid technological and digital changes and to work to expand their use in different areas, including development programs and sectoral and regional programs. It is a question of taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the latter to create wealth, stimulate growth, develop the competitiveness of the national economy and strengthen its position in regional and global value chains.

This meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the role that start-ups can play in the realization of this approach. The participants mentioned the existence of real development opportunities in several sectors, whether at the level of the internal market or in external markets, based on digitization and the expansion of its uses.

The Minister of Economy indicated that this initiative will make it possible to listen to the visions and approaches of stakeholders in the sector in order to develop an additional plan that will enrich the contents of the Tunisia 2035 strategic vision and the development plan.

The aim is to present recommendations that will make it possible to concretize the concepts of innovation and digitalization in development programs and plans, to enhance and strengthen the capacities of sectors or parties to integrate into value chains, we read from the same source.
