In this regard, the deputies of the diaspora Abdelouahab Yagoubi, Brahim Dekhinet, and Tawfik Khedim proposed two amendments that concern the Algerian diaspora, reporting several media.

The two texts will be submitted for debate at the level of the finance and budget committee of the National People’s Congress.

The first amendment proposes to increase the amount in foreign currency authorized to enter Algeria without a declaration from 1,000 euros to 7,500 euros. The second text proposes to increase the value of new goods imported for personal or family use to 7,500 euros, according to the same source.

The two amendments come within the framework of a seduction operation led by the Algerian government vis-à-vis the Algerian diaspora.
