Morocco unveils 26-man squad for friendly against Libya, Gabon

Morocco head coach Vahid Halilhodzic on Thursday unveiled his 26-man squad for the friendly matches against Libya and Gabon.

Morocco will play against Libya on October 11 in Oujda, and Gabon on October 15 in Tangier.

Vahid Halilhodzic, the Bosnian coach who replaced Herve Renard on August 15, said earlier that he wanted to call up new faces for those matches to tune up for the qualifiers of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which is to be held in Cameroon.

Following is Morocco’s squad:

Goalkeepers: Munir El Kajoui (Malaga/Spain), Yassine Bounou (Sevilla/Spain), Anas Zniti (Raja/Morocco) and Hicham El Mejhed (Ittihad Tangier/Morocco).
