Saudi Arabia concluded the awards ceremony for the 2024 edition of its famous WA’AI competition on August 19. The event, which aims to raise awareness of health issues among a wide audience, brought together several participants and rewarded the brightest among them.
This initiative is part of the Saudi Minister of Health’s efforts to empower interested individuals to raise awareness about health issues in the Arab world. In this 6th edition, the event highlights the country’s commitment to motivating organizations invested in education to health in the Arab world.
WA’AI Awards 2024: six Algerians awarded in Saudi Arabia
Algeria took part in this event with several of its talents. Participation was marked by the distinction of six of its talents who managed to demonstrate creativity and win one of the prizes awarded in the context of this competition.
Indeed, six Algerians won the 2024 edition of the WA’AI Prize, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Health. Through their creativity and talents, these people have carried the colors of their country well and won it a very beautiful victory.
This is the case of student Mohamed Amine Ben Dadi, who was distinguished in the advertising photography category. In addition, Mohsen Dahmoune El Hadi won the WA’AI prize in the computer graphics category.
Other prizes won in this competition
But that’s not all. The Algerian team was able to distinguish itself in other specialties. In particular, in the student category, Yasmine Hammoudi and Abdelkader Rachdi Bakou also won the WA’AI prize for computer graphics.
In addition, the short films category was marked by the victory of Ilyas Ould Menouer and Kheirat Ahsen, thanks to their respective works.
The award ceremony of this exceptional event was closed last Monday in Riyadh by the Saudi Minister of Health. As a reminder, this sixth edition covered several themes and the total amount of prizes awarded on this occasion exceeded one million Saudi riyals.
