Visa Applications for France from Algeria: Capago Replaces VFS and TLS Starting April 2025

The French private company Capago International will replace VFS Global and TLS Contact in managing visa applications for France starting from April 7, 2025. Specialized in outsourcing and digitizing administrative processes for governments and diplomatic missions, Capago operates in 12 countries across Africa, the Middle East, and the Caucasus.

The visa application management market in Algeria is set to undergo a significant change. The two companies currently operating in the country, TLS Contact and VFS Global, will be officially replaced by Capago International starting on April 7, 2025.

Founded in 2010, this French company will offer a range of services which include appointment scheduling, digitizing administrative processes, biometric data collection, traveler assistance, and the management of administrative centers for obtaining Schengen visas for France.

Company officials state they fully understand that each country has its own specificities and legal requirements, including Algeria. They assure they will work closely with Algerian authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations while providing solutions tailored to local realities.

The new visa application management company for Schengen visas will open its offices in Algiers, Oran, Annaba, and Constantine.

The closure of VFS Global’s center in Algiers and TLS Contact’s centers in Oran and Annaba is scheduled for April 7, 2025.
