Tunisia: The General Secretary of the Tunisian General Labor Union, Noureddine Tabboubi, has warned against Zionist lobbies seeking to drag Tunisia towards normalization with the Zionist entity after Morocco, in order to besiege Algeria.
Taboubi’s statements came during the regional union’s regular conference, which was held in the state of Kairouan.
In an opening speech, Noureddine Taboubi warned against “social media pages run by electronic bots of the Zionist lobby and foreign intelligence for a fundamental issue, not love in Tunisia or freedom of expression.”
He stressed that these electronic campaigns target “geopolitical interests linked to regional axes, Tunisia is now an integral part of them. After the normalization of Morocco with the Zionist entity, according to them, Tunisia must be subjected to normalization to besiege Algeria”.
A few days ago, the Hebrew media spread rumors that talks were underway between Tunisia and “Israel”, in order to achieve a possible normalization of relations between the two parties.
The “Israel Today” site indicates that Algeria is working to hinder the normalization of relations between Tunisia and the occupying entity, and rejects any presence of the latter in North Africa.
The “Rai Al-Youm” newspaper also reported that the Israeli entity regards Algeria with concern, which remains unwavering in the face of normalization, unlike some Arab regimes.
Tunisia responded to the rumors circulating, describing them as false allegations that the Hebrew media disseminated to damage Tunisia’s image and its steadfast stance towards the Palestinian cause.
