Last-minute twist: The Minister of Justice grants a new authorization to the UGTT to hold its exceptional congress in Sousse, tomorrow and near tomorrow, thus challenging everyone, starting with its own regional directorate in Sousse, until the judicial decision issued by the prosecutor’s office of Sousse, passing, necessarily, by the opinions of the scientific commission of fight against the covid.
This new authorization fell like a thunderclap that stunned everyone, starting with the spokesperson for the Sousse prosecutor’s office who announced it with great bitterness, saying that the court is now unable to block the holding of this congress.
It is, all the same, funny that a minister supposed to work to preserve the health of Tunisians, takes such a decision, knowing full well that this congress will ignite many epidemic centers across the country.
If this confirms the initial impression of being in the presence of a minister who was not bothered by the fact that the health system was disintegrating, which hampered the effort of the fight against the pandemic, still important to try to understand why he behaved in this way?
Is it for fear of the power of the health unions which risk blocking all health care institutions? Probably not. Because, ultimately, the ban on the holding of the congress did not emanate from him, but from justice. And we couldn’t blame him for that. Or, because it would be working for the interests of other parties, from which it receives its orders, and whose objective is to play against the government, even if it is at the expense of the lives of the citizens. ?
